As I've mentioned before, I miss my friends and family, and sometimes being in Cape Town 'on my own', is tough... but I have come to love this place, and She has brought many weird and wonderful people into my life, the kind I wouldn't wanna trade... Although I find little time for socializing, with a demanding job on the one hand, and some health issues on the other, I do have the occassional quality time with friends... these are some randomly selected pics of friends, shared just for fun...
These were taken at my birthday, celebrated at 'Die Strandloper' in Langebaan... what a wonderfully, intoxicating day! It was also the first time that I spent my holidays with my family (in my adult life)... This was an adventure on its own!
These pictures were taken during an outing, visiting Museums all day to view exhibitions by local artists... including our very own Ernestine White...
One of my favourite 'pass times' is taking a drive along Chapman's Peak, with its unsurpassed views... these are pictures from a recent trip... Sadly many patrons have taken to adding all sorts of profanities to the spot & viewing graffitti becomes a must when stopping at one of the
'viewing spots'...
The way we were…
But no matter how much fun you're having... There always comes a time when we look back to see exactly how far we’ve come… this is the way we were…
How can I forget... Themba (on the right)... 'I am what I am because of you'... And Graham and Arnie... oh, the good times we had...
