By July 2009, after surviving a horrific, tragic and sad few months, I could feel my body, mind and soul slowly collapsing… this made it necessary for my kids and I to just take a break from it all, and go away, far away to a place where we could simply just ‘be’… the most affordable option seemed to be Durban, and it turned out to be a great choice for many reasons…
I got to reconnect with family…
