After almost three years of Ilana’s persistence, and battling one challenge after the other, in November 2009 the PMP partnered with the Gauteng Provincial Legislature to host the final Amazwi Abesifazane (Voices of Women) workshop in Gauteng… it would seem that we truly did save the ‘best for last’, and this workshop proved to be all that we had hoped for. Participants came from across the province and represented a wide range of ethnic and cultural groups, which greatly enriched everyone’s experience of events and activities throughout the week…
